Buddhist Meditation Classes In Chicago

We currently offer beginner's classes on Sunday and Wednesday evenings in different locations.  Details below.

Meditation Day, Sat. Feb. 18, 8AM-1PM

Join us for a day of Buddhist samatha meditation:

Saturday, February 18, 2012. 8:00AM - 1:00PM
Hyde Park Union Church

5600 South Woodlawn Avenue
 (enter on 56th Street)

The day is open to all, beginners or experienced, regardless of affiliation. Instruction will be provided for those not familiar with this system of meditation.

Please wear loose, comfortable clothing for sitting meditation, and if possible, please bring a cushion for sitting on (an old bed pillow often works well). We will have some cushions for sitting, but not enough for everyone.

This event is free of charge, donations are accepted.
