In 2012/13 there will be two separate beginners classes in Oxford. Both are open to anyone who wishes to attend, and are free of charge.   The classes run during term times, commencing in October/November 2012.

If you would like to join either of the classes, you can initially speak to the relevant group contact person who can give you further information, or turn up at a class. If you would like to join a class after January 2013 then please check that the classes are still open to newcomers using the contact details below.

Please bring a cushion to sit on when you first join a class.

City Centre Class

This class is run under the auspices of the  Oxford University Buddhist Society  on Tuesday evenings at 8pm, St Peter's College (New Inn Hall Street, Oxford OX1 2DL). The classes commence on 9 October 2012 and will run during term time for the 2012/13 academic year. The class is open to all and you don't have to be a member of Oxford University to come.

The class is held in the Miles Room. The room is left after the lodge, past the chapel, down the steps on the left and inside the glass doors. St Peter's is a small place - but if you find yourself lost, the porters are friendly.

Headington Class

Classes  run on Monday  evenings at 7pm (commencing on 5 November 2012),   In the Chaplaincy Room , Helena Kennedy Student Centre,  (Opposite Maddison's Sandwich Bar),   Headington Campus (Headington Hill site) . This class is open to all and you don't have to be a member of Oxford Brookes University to come.
