Meditation Classes in Oxford The Oxford Samatha Group runs two separate classes for beginners. Both are open to anyone who wishes to attend, and are free of charge. The classes run throughout the year and can be joined at any time. If you would like to join either of them, you can initially speak to the relevant group contact person who can give you further information. Please bring a cushion to sit on when you first join a class. Town class: This class is held at the West Oxford Community Centre, Botley Road, Oxford on Monday evenings at 8.15 pm. University Class: This class is intended primarily for students to meet their particular needs and interests. The class is run under the auspices of the the Oxford University Buddhist Society on Monday evenings at 8pm, in the Latner Room, St. Peter's College, New Inn Hall Street, Oxford.
