Kingston Upon Thames

Gold Buddha hand

An open beginners meditation class runs weekly in Kingston Upon Thames on Saturdays during term time only. All are welcome and no previous experience is necessary. People can join the class on any given date without prior arrangement or booking, just come along if you think you may be interested. All teaching is given freely but there is a suggested minimum donation of £4 to £5 which will be used to cover the cost of the room hire only.

Practical instruction on the Samatha meditation practice will given in the group context every week. There is also the opportunity to speak with the teacher on an individual basis as an aid to developing the practice because the experience of meditation can vary from person to person.

The class meets at St John's Church, Grove Lane, KT1 2SU.
